About Austral Soccer Club

Austral Soccer Club was first formed in 1972, with a vision to bring the community together through football. For over fifty years, the club has called Austral home, growing alongside the suburb and the wider South Western Sydney region it serves.

Today Austral Soccer Club plays out of W.V. Scott Memorial Park, on the corner of Bringelly Road and Edmondson Avenue, with our junior sides competing in the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association (SDSFA). From our youngest players taking their first touches to our senior teams, the club caters for footballers of all ages and abilities.

As a club, Austral believes in providing a safe and welcoming environment for children and families of all backgrounds — encouraging team sport, building friendships, and bringing people together through a shared love of the game. We are proud to be a family-friendly club, and just as proud to support the local community and businesses that have supported us in return.

Austral Soccer Club is run entirely by volunteers: a dedicated committee and group of supporters who are passionate about football, about their community, and about the continued improvement of the club. Their commitment is the reason the club has thrived for so long, and it remains at the heart of everything we do.

We pride ourselves on a positive and encouraging culture for everyone involved, while staying competitive and placing a strong emphasis on youth development. We want every player who pulls on the Austral jersey to feel cheered on, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.
